Historic vessel Vega preparing 100 midwife kits for delivery

It takes a few days once we have all the elements on board to sort and prepare our midwife kits but it is well worth the effort. Each of these kits weighs about 20 kgs and is stocked with everything a midwife needs to properly do the job. Statistics are starting to come in and maternal and new born mortality is dropping in some of the areas we assist by as much as 50%. That is what I call success and we intend to improve those results even more next year.
