We’re on our way…

Well we made friends on the islands and wound up helping the school and the nurse quite a lot. It is a very friendly place and the people are just lovely so open and easy going. Medang is now going to be a reagular stop for us for sure.

I have many pictures but you sould have loved how excited the children were and how touchingly pleased the teachers were. The nurse had nothing to work with and the clinic is just another bedroom in her small house. We ask her for a list and first three important things on it we had… heart beat monitor, blood preasure cuff, and ressucisstation set, so we made up a quick package for her and when she saw it I thought she would start crying.

I have some good pics to send you but they will have to wait until we get to Dili. Right now we are sailing on a south wind crossing between Sumbawa and Flores. 20 knts of wind and making about 6 knts under sunny skies.

Good bunch on board !
